Billion Dots Showcases Sustainable Food Packaging Materials at the 34th MIMF 2023

Billion Dots booth K04 at the 34th Malaysia International Machinery Fair (MIMF) 2023, showcasing eco-friendly food packaging materials

In July 2023, Billion Dots showcased material and packaging solutions for the food & beverage (F&B) industry at the 34th Malaysia International Machinery Fair (MIMF), held in Kuala Lumpur from 13 to 15 July 2023 — in the fair’s M’SIA-PACK & FOODPRO sector, booth K04.

Material innovation took center stage. Focusing on the application of recyclable and biodegradable materials and how they shape the choice of materials for food containers and companion tableware, we presented a product range covering everyday foodservice items — cups, meal boxes, straws and cutlery — with paper and sugarcane bagasse food containers, PLA cups and PLA tableware displayed alongside the material story behind each product.

Beyond finished packaging, we featured food-grade color masterbatches, functional masterbatches commonly used in food packaging, and related products — bringing color matching, functional requirements and processing applications into one integrated showcase, so food packaging manufacturers could see the complete picture from material selection to product development.

The participation highlighted how we support product development through material application: starting from real foodservice scenarios and balancing appearance, performance and processing requirements, Billion Dots provides customers with integrated packaging materials, finished products and technical support services.
